Toy stormtroopers partner with adorable dog to set up a ‘Star Wars’ Christmas tree

They’re a little short for a real stormtrooper, but they can still brighten your holiday.

The dark side never stopped anyone from having a little Yuletide cheer, as Star Wars fans and brothers Kyle and Phil Shearrer proved yesterday.

The two redditors won r/StarWars when they posted a set of painstaking photographs taken by Kyle in which a horde of stormtroopers (and their canine companion) lovingly assemble a Christmas tree, all while an approving Darth Vader looks on.

Not to be outdone, Phil promptly turned the whole sequence into a short film complete with Sith Lord soundtrack.
