Star Wars: Episode VII director J.J. Abrams just dropped the mic in his long-running Twitter battle with Batman v Superman director Zack Snyder. In response to the latest salvo from Snyder, Abrams tweeted a 30-second video that has Star Wars fans practically salivating.
The video gives fans their first official look at Episode VII‘s Millennium Falcon—albeit with a slight modification to its underside that’s straight out of Gotham.
This is a much better view of the Falcon, Han Solo’s iconic ship from the original trilogy, than the last glimpse. That happened last week, when a drone spied the half-built YT-1300 light freighter and several X-wing starfighters sitting on a former British airbase.
Since early August, Snyder and Abrams have been going at it, tweeting images that combine the mega-franchises of Star Wars and Batman. Here are the previous tweets in their duel.
