Anytime a grown man decides to imitate a video game character, there’s a strong chance that awkward hilarity will occur. Nick Luciano’s father took it to the next level by mimicking not one, not two, but all of the dozens of fighters in Super Smash Bros. Wii U, and the resulting video is an instant classic.
With plenty of pep, the ambitious actor works his way through every taunt animation in the most recent Smash Bros. roster, complete with matching voice work. Not only are his motions pretty spot-on, the sheer number of jumps, falls, twists, and bends on display is enough to make you feel like you got a workout just by watching it all unfold.
All of the taunts on the video are matched up with their in-game counterparts, which makes the entire thing worth watching at least a few times through, if only to compare.
