Most Super Bowl trailers are for big franchises like Marvel (yes, there was a new Avengers: Endgame teaser), but this year offered four weirder, creepier options. They were all teasers for Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark, produced and co-written by horror icon Guillermo del Toro.

Directed by Norwegian filmmaker André Øvredal (who made the brilliant horror mockumentary Trollhunter), Scary Stories is based on the popular horror book series by Alvin Schwartz. Aimed at both kids and adults, the movie version takes place in 1968, following a group of teens who find a book of horrifying stories that begin to come true.

Each of the four new teasers focuses on a different monster: Big Toe, Jangly Man, Red Spot, and Pale Lady.
