Sausage is one of the more versatile proteins, as evidenced by the ability to eat it for breakfast with eggs or for dinner with pasta, along with the long list of types of chicken sausage available at Trader Joe’s. The meat has also launched a #sausagemovement Vine meme, with teens sharing their love of sausage via the magic of sick beats.
BuzzFeed explained the phenomenon earlier this month. The meme is basically people rapping about their affinity for the wiener, putting their own signature spin on the anthem with new lyrics.

This squad is enthusiastic and surprisingly socially conscious, so we hereby nominate them as the face of the sausage revolution. But also: WHO IS LETTING THESE TEENS JUST RAP ABOUT SAUSAGE IN A CLASSROOM? Where is the teacher supervision? All the other kids sitting in the background totally unfazed by the rap make this video even funnier.
