Ex-jailer sentenced to prison for violent fetish

A former Florida corrections deputy who was reportedly into some really sick stuff has taken a plea deal. Robin Pagoria, 47, will spend 20 years in prison for the violent sexual abuse of two children, which she videotaped to sexually satisfy herself and her internet boyfriend.

Pagoria was arrested in 2011 after admitting to police that she had repeatedly spanked two girls with a leather paddle she bought online. After one of the girls called child services, police visited Pagoria at her home. There, they saw a desk which Pagoria had modified to make it slanted. She showed police how she would make the girls get undressed and bend over the desk. According to the police report (see below,) she used her corrections department-issued handcuffs to restrain them. She secured their arms and legs to the desk, and then set up her cell phone to record the severe beatings that she administered to them. One of the girls reported being hit more than 50 times in one session. Afterward, Pagoria would reportedly review the videos and work on her “technique.”

The divorced Pagoria would also upload the clips to her Vimeo account to show her Australian boyfriend Christopher Lobban, 54, whom she met on a spanking fetish website. After Lobban watched the videos, Pagoria took them down. According to Pagoria, Lobban directed most of her fetishistic activities, including instructing her on how to make the “spanking bench” out of a desk and telling her how hard to punish the girls. Pagoria, who admitted to having a spanking fetish during an interview with police, was a member of various online fetish communities (see below.)

As part of her plea deal, Pagoria has agreed to testify against Lobban, whom she’s never met in real life. Polk County sheriff Grady Judd vows to extradite Lobban to the States, despite the accused man’s fight to stay down under. ”You’re not going to hide on the other side of the world and sexually batter our children and sexually abuse our children without going to prison,’ said’ Judd. Lobban is currently in jail in Australia, being held on a provisional warrant out of Polk county. He is charged with promotion of sexual performance of a child, solicitation to commit aggravated child abuse by malicious punishment, and solicitation to commit lewd/lascivious battery on a victim aged between 12 and 16 years. He faces 25 years.
