One of the coolest features of Sony’s PlayStation 4 is the option to remotely play the console over an Internet connection using a PS Vita or Sony smartphone. Well, according to President of Sony’s Worldwide Studios Shuhei Yoshida, that functionality will soon be coming to Windows and Mac computers.
Some people asked if we plan to provide Remote Play function to PC, and yes, we are indeed working on an official application for PC/Mac. :D

Yoshida has not yet commented on when the application would become available, but considering Xbox One owners can already remotely play, it wouldn’t be too surprising if Sony releases it soon to keep pace with competition.
For gamers unwilling to wait, there’s currently a program that allows remote play of the PlayStation 4. It isn’t free, however—it’ll set you back about $10. Here’s a video that shows the program in action.
