Katrina Naficy and her boyfriend Nick Massey have found a way to spice up their relationship with one of the blandest vegetables in the game. The New Yorkers collaborated to create a horror film trailer featuring a Ouija board, a bit of romance, and 300 potatoes.

Massey shared the trailer on Reddit, and the feedback was pretty dang positive. Redditors poked fun at the Latvian joke trope of potatoes being pricier than gold, reminisced about that guy who pretended he didn’t even know what a potato was, and kindly pointed out that “vegetables” was spelled wrong in the trailer. They also lauded his girlfriend for nailing that perfect horror scream at the trailer’s climactic finale.
Over on YouTube, where the video was first uploaded, weirdos just kept asking for a potato from the bathtub scene. And saying a bunch of negative shit about Naficy’s appearance.
OK, buddy, whatever you say.
She did get some positive responses, but it looks like this feature film is without a major backer, putting its future on shaky ground.
