Peacock spider’s mating dance will put your moves to shame

There are no moves smoother than the peacock spider’s.

In a video from YouTube user Peacockspiderman, we get to watch a member of Maratus personatus turn up and try to woo his romantic interest with a little jig. Legs up, side to side, the arachnid knows how to catch the attention of his lady friend. All eyes (yes, all eight on the other spider) are on this lil’ critter.

Wouldn’t want to be caught in a dance off with this guy.
