On Friday, the reality star shared a heavily edited photo of himself rocking his newly-grown facial hair. But now fans are questioning if the photo is of the real DJ Pauly D.
“Why does Pauly D look like Ronnie dressed up as Pauly D,” Twitter user @renzaate wrote.
“I was about to say ‘hahaha this person looks like Pauly D’ but it really is just Pauly D looking like someone pretending to be Pauly D,” another said.
Of course, being stuck in the house as the new coronavirus spreads has led a lot of people—including celebrities—to become a tad lapse in personal upkeep.
But in spite of his trademark hair, tattoos, and DJ equipment, several fans still had a hard time believing that Pauly D was the man behind the scruff.
One fan even responded to the photo with the iconic Keke Palmer “I don’t know who this man is” meme.
The Jersey Shore star hasn’t publicly commented on the reactions to his new appearance.
