College football’s back, which means a new flood of marching band halftime shows on YouTube is now in full effect. No band is more effective at turning their 10-minute gigs into Internet must-sees than Ohio State’s, either. The band’s adherence to cultural relevance goes unrivaled.

This weekend, during halftime at the Horseshoe against Virginia Tech, the Best Damn Band in the Land paid tribute to the wonderful world of television, navigating like Bart Simpson on a skateboard through theme songs and images from some of TV’s most iconic shows and images. There’s The Addams Family, BatmanM.A.S.H., and The Office.

Serious accolades go for the creativity of The Brady Bunch nod, as well as the reference to The Lone Ranger at the end. That show stopped airing on ABC in 1957, before most of these kids’ parents were even born.
