This creepy Oculus Rift game lets you lift up a teenage girl’s skirt

We suppose it was inevitable.

The Oculus Rift is one of the coolest inventions of the past decade, so naturally someone had to find a way to use it for evil.

Well, perhaps not actual evil, but definitely something gross and creepy.

Oculus has already spawned countless ideas for cool virtual reality games and experiences, but one Japanese game developer has come up with something far less inspiring: a “game” where you try to look up a teenage girl’s skirt.

The game requires the player to blow into a microphone, which simulates wind blowing up a girl’s skirt. The girl in question is Hatsune Miku, a fictional Japanese teen celebrity who performs concerts in hologram form. That’s it, basically. You just try to get a 16-year-old CGI cartoon character to show her panties. Well done, humanity.

It was always inevitable that Oculus Rift would wind up being used for porn, just like every other artistic medium in human history. This is kind of a disappointing start, though. If you’re going to use an exciting new virtual reality technology for adult entertainment, then you should at least create something less creepy and more interesting than perving on a Japanese hologram schoolgirl.
