It can seem inescapable: Are we the consumers of information, or simply its victims, locked into receiving mode and powerless to look away?
This GIF is called “One Way.” A gorgeous, gigantic green eye, haloed in gold, with a never-ending high speed highway, forever racing towards the point of focus, headed towards the light; this is not the vision of an optimist. In the information superhighway, there is no speed limit. Just remember to buckle up and blink once in awhile.
