Kris Jenner’s epic Instagram Live fail is the most relatable thing

We all thought she’d have this down by now.

The annual Kardashian-Jenner Christmas party wouldn’t have been complete without a little action from momager, Kris Jenner.

This time, it was a flub with Instagram Live. This BuzzFeed article gives a solid play-by-play of Jenner’s technology fail: She opens up Instagram Live to stream Kim’s speech, but her front-facing camera is the one streaming. In her efforts to capture her daughter speaking, the screen first goes white and then black. Jenner enlists a friend to help her figure out the streaming feature, just in time to miss Kim’s speech completely.

Jenner’s blunder wasn’t lost on her followers who tuned in. Recordings of the ordeal have made their way around online, where Jenner has been on the receiving end of both roasts and the same regard one might give an aging grandparent who’s just learned what Snapchat is. (It’s Snap, actually.)

“You can see she was really trying her best though,” one user wrote.

“One can try (to) hide their age all they want but technology will always put you in your place,” another wrote.

Others couldn’t help but focus on Kim Kardashian West’s speech, particularly a part where she describes having had the family Christmas party since she was “1 years old.”

One takeaway from all this? The stars really are just like us.

“This is a reminder she is one of us,” @bdfpgirl said. “Still trying to figure out the damn (camera/video recorder/Instagram.) We’ve all been there lmao. You(‘re) my favorite mom besides my own mom.”
