7-year-old bravely battles hiccups while singing the national anthem

Hiccups can really ruin a moment, but one young singer didn’t let that get in the way of his performance. 

On Friday night, a 7-year-old named Ethan Hall was tasked with singing the Australian national anthem before a Brisbane-Adelaide ABL game. Almost immediately, he starts hiccuping, and the camera pans out to catch the reactions of the players, who are having a hard time keeping straight faces. 

But young Ethan didn’t seem too embarrassed afterwards: He got a bunch of high-fives out of it. Carry on.
