J.K. Rowling is known for her outspoken political views, so it’s no surprise to see her commenting on the U.S. presidential election.
The author has been retweeting comments about Donald Trump all weekend, weighing in on Sunday’s debate and the now-infamous tape of Trump making lewd remarks about women.
The men rushing to tell us all that they talk about women exactly the way @realDonaldTrump did in his tape seem to think they’re helping.

‘It’s your fault I didn’t pay taxes, Hillary. Women let you do anything when you’re a star.’

Rowling didn’t pull any punches when criticizing Trump, especially when it came to his attitude toward women. However, not everyone cared to hear her political views on Twitter.

In response to this Twitter user, Rowling voiced an opinion shared by many people outside the U.S. this year. Even if you live overseas, the presidential election is still front page news—and for good reason.
