With Batman v Superman out of the way, it’s time for DC Comics fans to turn their sights toward Suicide Squad. And apparently, that means the introduction of Joker-themed Snapchat filters.
Jared Leto showcased the Joker filter on Twitter, with a genuinely alarming video of him as a “bearded Joker.”
Honestly, this is creepier than the way he actually looks in the actual Suicide Squad trailers.

At the moment, some of the Suicide Squad cast have returned for last-minute reshoots, supposedly with the intent to add more humor to the movie.

Just four months out from the film’s release date, this would ordinarily be a very bad sign for a big-budget blockbuster of this type. However, in this case it may be good news for fans who were already looking forward to Suicide Squad. Following the tepid reception for Batman v Superman‘s grim and humorless tone, it sounds like Warner Bros. has decided to double down on the fun, irreverent style of the Suicide Squad trailers—which is exactly what fans enjoyed in the first place.
