This ice cream truck prank is actually heartwarming

For once, we’ve come across a friendly and harmless YouTube prank: an “insane ice cream truck man” giving away free ice cream and money to passersby.

The MediocreFilms YouTube channel (yes, that’s its actual name) filmed the ice cream prank as part of the Prank It Forward campaign, which organizes “positive pranks” to brighten people’s days. It certainly seems to have worked, although we’re not sure if it’s such a smart idea to eat ice cream given away by such a weird dude.

We’re definitely in favor of this new trend for benevolent YouTube pranks. It marks a welcome change from all the pranks that go out of their way to be offensive, gross, or flat-out dangerous.
