The woman who would have been president seems to have waited until the masses died down before seeing Wonder Woman, the neo-feminist classic she once called “right up my alley.” On Saturday Hillary Clinton took the Alamo Drafthouse in Brooklyn up on its offer for a private screening, bringing husband Bill and a few friends in tow.
“She had seen the tweet and asked if the offer still stood,” Alamo spokesperson Mike Sampson told the Huffington Post. “We were happy to set up a private screening, for which they organized the guest list. We were obviously thrilled to have them as guests at our theater and they have an open invitation to return anytime in the future.”
The NYC Alamo tweeted it was “honored” to host Clinton the morning after the event.

In June, Clinton mentioned in a video for a Women in Film event that she hadn’t seen Wonder Woman yet, “but I’m going to, in part because it’s directed by the fabulous Patty Jenkins. But something tells me that a movie about a strong, powerful woman fighting to save the world from a massive international disaster is right up my alley.”
