Back in the day, it was nearly impossible to become a legend with your yearbook quote.
That isn’t a knock on teen creativity, just a matter of fact. Virality didn’t exist. I bet yearbooks in the ’70s were littered with fantastic quotes that never got to see the light of day.
Nowadays though, teens are getting the recognition they deserve. But no teen killed it with her quote quite like Savanna Tomlinson of Port St. Lucie, Florida.

BuzzFeed caught up with Savannah and she said she heard about a white guy who allegedly got free plane tickets by sounding white on the phone.
Which… yeah. I buy.
Savannah’s mom, however, didn’t appreciate the joke.
