At thirty-four-and-a-half inches, they tower over coffee tables and the family cat, filling parents and babysitters with dread. No other force of man or nature can match the horror or destruction caused by:

As with the original trailer, the director wisely builds anticipation by opening with shots of the destruction.
Then they tease us with a few quick shots showing only parts of the monster.
Before finally revealing the beast in its full fury.
