Spring may be fast approaching, but at Paris Fashion Week, designers were already looking ahead to the fall and winter. With his ready-to-wear collection, designer Manish Arora sent a clear message that, despite the end of this chilly season, one should never forget that “Winter is Coming.”
Those words appeared on more than one outfit in Arora’s Game of Thrones-inspired autumn/winter 2015 line, which included bright colors and warrior looks that will be a hit with fans of the HBO fantasy series, as well as anyone looking for a more medieval style.
If you’re in love with some of these items, the good news is that they’re available on Arora’s website. The bad news is that such high fashion comes at a high price, one that might be too much for even the most diehard Game of Thrones fan.
The nightwatch asymmetric top stylishly displaying the House Stark motto is selling for $1,540, while the red armor embroidered cape costs $4,335—and that’s not even the most expensive item. The digitally printed frames and animals skirt along with the embroidered skull and frame sweatshirt will cost you $4,820.
If you absolutely need something from this collection, you could always go with the cheapest item: The nightwatch digital printed skirt is only $770.
Some of the items might be difficult to wear in your everyday life, but if you showed up to your next Game of Thrones viewing party in one of these items, you’d surely make your fellow fans jealous.
You can see more of the items available for sale at Arora’s online store and watch his designs walk the runway in the video below. If you listen closely, you can catch the Game of Thrones theme song being played toward the end of the show, along with the haunting song “The Rains of Castamere” wrapping up the collection.
