The Fortnite World Cup Championship is just around the corner, and it’s a chance for a select few competitors to take on an intimidating number of opposing players with a trophy, bragging rights, and a $30 million prize pool on the line. While those professionals worry about their building speed and accuracy, us regular folks just want to know how to watch the Fortnite World Cup. Thankfully, Epic Games has made it pretty dang easy, and we’ve laid it all out for you below.
What is the Fortnite World Cup?
The Fortnite World Cup Finals are the final leg of the game’s multi-month competitive league. Players have been duking it out in online open tournaments, but now it’s time for the final clash.
The Fortnite World Cup is split up into a solo player division and a duo division for two-man squads. One hundred players will compete in the solos final, and 50 teams of two players will compete in the duos final.
Players are competing for a $30 million prize pool. First place in the solos division wins a cool $3 million, with second, third, and even fourth place still earning upwards of $1 million, and less the further down you go.

The World Cup duos finals start on July 27 at 1pm ET, with a pre-show starting at 12:30pm ET.

What else is there to watch?
There’s the Fortnite Creative World Cup, where pro players try to navigate obstacle courses created by other notable pros. That event kicks off at 1pm Friday, July 26, with preshow festivities at 12:30pm.
In the Pro-Am tournament, 50 professional players and 50 celebrities join up in duos to battle it out. The winners will secure a $3 million prize pool for a charity. Watch that event at 4pm on July 26 after the Creative finals wrap up.
