Donatella Versace is a fan of The Shape of Water, the Obamas, and magazines. She dislikes criticism and minimalism. And she “absolutely” considers herself a feminist.
In an interview recently published on Vogue‘s YouTube channel, the Versace fashion designer bluntly responded to 73 questions about her personal life and beliefs. Vogue has used this video interview format with dozens of celebrities, but this is perhaps the best one so far. Watch below:
She mentions The Shape of Water twice! She blends four different perfumes! She thinks sustainability will save humanity! She describes her personal style as “very personal”!
But the comment that attracted the most attention was when the interviewer asks Donatella what she would do if she wasn’t running Versace. “Having a nervous breakdown, probably,” she replies in a deadpan tone.
The internet found Donatella relatable and funny.

The interview was released on the same day that The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story began airing on FX, which covers the murder of Donatella’s brother, Gianni Versace. Penélope Cruz plays Donatella Versace in the series.
