Daily Fluff: Puppy car service app comes to New York

Following a successful roll-out in the San Francisco area, the puppy-centric car service app, Woofer, is about to land in the Big Apple.

The app will launch its New York availability this weekend with 65 cars out for hire. 

According to CEO Suresh Kothari, current car service apps like Uber and Lyft aren’t guaranteed to offer pet friendly rides and the apps themselves just aren’t for good for dogs.

“Those apps are great — for humans,” said Kothari, “but try using Uber with paws and then get back to me.”
