Daily Fluff: Local cat is already sick of summer school

Classes only just began last week in the summer session at St. Bartholomew’s High School, but already a local kitty named Marianne wants them to be over.

The cat failed two subjects — biology and French — during the school year and must make them up this summer in order to advance a grade next fall. But, said friends, she’d much rather be at the beach.

“Who wouldn’t?” asked Tom Wills, who shared a locker with Marianne. “But she has no one to blame but herself. If she didn’t want to have to go to summer school, she should have showed up to class more.”
