Inside the DeploraBall, the inauguration party for Trump supporters and many white nationalists, one could hear Twitter user Mike Cernovich refer to Speaker of the House Paul Ryan as “Cuck Ryan,” to cries of “Lock him up!” The alt-right has no love for establishment Republicans.

Among the protesters gathered outside the event was young Connor, who’s learning about direct political action early in life. He wants to be very clear: He wasn’t just at the fire. He actually kind of started the fire, because he felt like it. His name is Connor and, additionally, “Screw our president!”

Update 10:20am CT, Jan. 26: It turns out 11-year-old Connor is none other than Drew Carey’s son. TMZ revealed the connection early this morning, noting that Carey and Connor’s mom had a sit-down with their son about his language after the incident. According to a video posted by TMZ, Carey and his son were at a nearby restaurant having dinner when the boy asked to see the protest. Carey dubbed the gathering “not that bad, for a protest,” but noted he didn’t vote for either Donald Trump or Hillary Clinton. Apparently Carey’s safety plan of “I told him to come find me if anything happens” wasn’t airtight.
