Chris Pratt is warning fans on Facebook that there’s a person on the social media network who’s impersonating him, sending messages to women, and asking for their phone numbers.
On his Facebook page, Pratt told his 3.8 million followers to look for a verified blue check mark if they receive a message from somebody purporting to be him. He put the same message on his Instagram account, which is followed by 13.9 million people.
“Tell your siblings,” Pratt wrote. “Educate our young ones. It’s probably mostly kids who would fall for this. Makes me sick.”
Pratt wrote that “many, many people” have told him about the impostor, and he called the online interloper a “potential predator.” Pratt also wrote he’d like to punch the person.
“If I find out who it is I’ll have their account shut down and seriously would like to punch them right in the GD mouth,” Pratt wrote. “… If it’s you doing it, I’m warning you. Stop right now or you will be very unhappy with the outcome. Go find Jesus.”
According to People, the impostor account has been removed.
