Here’s a cat that chirps at birds

Welcome to the latest real-life Disney moment.

This cat is probably just playing with its prey, but on video it looks suspiciously like it’s having a conversation with a bird.

Listen closely as it makes strange chirping noises toward something in the top left corner of the screen. Then the camera pans over to reveal a bird, which has apparently been listening in on the conversation all along.

So, is this an unexpected cat/bird friendship? Or just a cat making noises at its dinner? Obviously, we’re rooting for the former.
