Britt McHenry was once a rising star at ESPN. But when the company went through massive layoffs earlier this year, she was one of the casualties. Since then, she has decided to rebrand herself as a conservative flamethrower, in the vein of Tomi Lahren.
How’s that going for Britt? Well, today she weighed in on the White House and Trump blasting ESPN for anchor Jemele Hill calling Trump a “white supremacist.”
Here’s how McHenry McSaw it.
For critics of @realDonaldTrump who say it’s not “presidential” for a POTUS to mention sports or a sports network, remember… pic.twitter.com/FXU4Kt23Dt

Uhhhhhhh.
Well. Former President Barack Obama, in that picture, was filling out an NCAA bracket. Trump and his staff were advocating for the firing of a journalist for saying something. Maybe slightly different? Let’s see how the internet took it.
Yes. Yes, that’s what we’re saying. Well-observed. Excellent analogy. Smart. You’re very smart. https://t.co/AxUfStt3eb

And if you are wondering if this was just an accidental one-off from McHenry, here she is earlier this week arguing with the site Black Sports Online about why there is no White Sports Online.
If I created a “White Sports Online,” I’d never work again. But go ahead. Work the hustle. https://t.co/dk3fgV5D0H

Tomi Lahren, who was just hired at Fox News, better watch out.
