With the epic conclusion of the NHL season, the winning team gets to take home a brand new cradle.
Fans may think they win the coveted Stanley Cup, but Chicago Blackhawks forward Kris Versteeg knows that trophy is best used as a baby-holder. After their win, he sat his 2-week-old son, Jaxson James, right inside.

Putting your baby inside the cup is a time-honored tradition. Last year, Los Angeles Kings’ forward Kyle Clifford’s child had the honors.

Versteeg wasn’t the only tot in the cup after the Blackhawks’ win, either. Andrew Desjardins’ child also got a turn.
