Meet Bei Bei, the panda who can’t stop falling out of trees

This is Bei Bei. She’s a panda who was born in August 2015. That means she’s almost 2 years old, an age where you might think she’d finally be competent at climbing trees.

But Bei Bei is not good at climbing trees. In fact, she’s pretty terrible at it. As the National Zoo in Washington D.C. made clear a few days ago.

This is Bei Bei, and she might be the klutziest panda you could ever meet.

Bei Bei, though, is tough. And, as her repeated attempts to climb prove, she’s, literally and metaphorically, awfully hard-headed.
