Actor-turned-politician Arnold Schwarzenegger posted a video on Twitter asking people to stay indoors during the coronavirus pandemic.
In the video, Schwarzenegger is seen feeding his mini horse, Whiskey, and his donkey, Lulu, carrots while he explains the importance of self-distancing.
“The important thing is that you stay at home…That’s what we do. We don’t go out, we don’t go to restaurants, we don’t do anything like that anymore here,” Schwarzenegger, the former governor of California said.
He mentions that everyone, like Whiskey and Lulu, should eat at home instead of risking public safety. He also points out that people over the age of 65 should be especially cautious during the coronavirus.
For the most part, people loved the video.
“You must be protected at all costs. Please be safe,” one fan wrote back to him on Twitter.
Schwarzenegger’s one of many celebrities urging people to stay inside and to take the coronavirus seriously.
Although the coronavirus is most dangerous for babies, elderly, and people who are immunocompromised, doctors worry that young people not participating in social distancing will spread it to these communities.
