While the restaurant’s name invokes the Lone Star state, Texas Roadhouse was actually founded in 1993 in Louisville, Kentucky’s Green Tree Mall. Since its inception, the popular steak and southwestern-style restaurant chain has opened 627 locations, offering what many diners feel is a decent bang for their buck, especially due to its purportedly hefty portions.

Numerous folks have professed their love for Texas Roadhouse’s sweet buns, which are usually served with every meal or can be purchased separately by hungry diners. Some have also said that the restaurant offers impressive and cost-efficient meal prep solutions with its family meals, which aren’t always offered at all locations.
