The holiday season can be particularly challenging, especially after a few alcoholic beverages. So one software company has developed a mobile app and Web browser plugin to make sure you don’t make a fool of yourself.
The folks over at Webroot have just released the Holiday Party Sobriety Test and Social Media Sobriety Test.
The Holiday Party Sobriety Test is a free mobile app for Android and iPhone that features puzzles, mind benders, and coordination games to test how drunk you are.
The Social Media Sobriety Test is a Google Chrome plug-in that allows you to block access to social media sites like Twitter, Facebook, and Flickr at a set time, so you don’t accidentally upload a photo of yourself smashing into a wall.
The mobile app is fun and easy to use. After a few glasses of eggnog, you can sure bet people will be begging to try their hand at some of the games.
And if you’re more the type to stay home alone? The Google Chrome plugin is, well, pretty handy for those of you who gravitate toward a keyboard every time you knock a few back.
