We’re nearly a year away from the release of Rogue One, the first standalone Star Wars film, but fans are getting an early, close-up look at some of the movie’s costumes.
Spielwarenmesse, the world’s largest international toy convention located in Nuremberg, Germany, won’t open its doors for trade visitors, journalists, and guests until Jan. 27, but Twitter user @DarrenArsenal1 shared photos of what looks like a display of Rogue One costumes a day early.
While he initially didn’t say where he took the photos, he later confirmed that it was at the toy fair in Nuremberg.
He first posted photos of the display outside of the Messezentrum, the exhibition center in Nuremberg where the toy fair is taking place. The display has an army of First Order stormtroopers on a platform with The Force Awakens‘s logo on it. (Archived version available in case these photos are deleted.)

He then started to tweet photos of a display located in the building, which features three costumes behind a backdrop that appears to match the Rogue One logo. (We’ve archived each of the tweets in case they are deleted.)
Lucasfilm did not immediately respond to an email asking to confirm the authenticity of the display.
Little is known about Rogue One, which will be released on Dec. 16, aside from what we learned during Disney‘s D23 and Star Wars Celebration events: It will center around a group of resistance fighters who team up to steal the plans to the Death Star shortly before the events of A New Hope. Disney has given us one cast photo showing stars Felicity Jones, Diego Luna, Donnie Yen, Forest Whitaker, Mads Mikkelsen, and Alan Tudyk.

Based on this cast photo, it appears that @DarrenArsenal1’s photos show the costumes worn by Jones, Luna, and Yen’s characters.
If The Force Awakens is any indication, fans will have no shortage of chances to examine and analyze the movie’s costumes before its release.
