Kit Harington, who is known to millions as Jon Snow from Game of Thrones, married his onscreen love interest Rose Leslie—a.k.a. Ygritte of the wildlings—on Saturday in a traditional wedding at the Kirkton of Rayne church in Scotland. The pair got engaged last year after falling in love while filming season 2 of the fantasy drama series in Iceland, mirroring the journey of their characters.

“Because the country is beautiful, because the Northern Lights are magical, and because it was there that I fell in love,” Harington told L’Uomo Vogue in 2016, remarking that those three weeks of filming was his favorite memory of the series—when it was presumed at the time that his character had been killed off. “If you’re already attracted to someone, and then they play your love interest in the show, it becomes very easy to fall in love.”

Harington and Leslie’s wedding was attended by several of their Thrones cast members, including Maisie Williams and Sophie Turner—the latter of whom recently got engaged to Joe Jonas. Although Jon Snow and Ygritte may not have been so lucky to have the same fate, the fairy tale ending was enough to make everyone forget about Harry and Meghan, to say the least.

Naturally, a lot of people also had the same joke:

The celebration continued into the weekend at Leslie’s family castle, like that’s the most normal thing in the entire world. After all, it was the most royal of weddings.
