Finally some good news when it comes to representation in Hollywood. Not only will season 2 of Jessica Jones continue to focus on a badass women and bring important issues to light but all 13 episodes are set to be directed by women.
Executive Producer Melissa Rosenberg made the announcement during Transforming Hollywood’s one day symposium earlier this week.

It’s unclear which directors have been tapped, but it’s worth noting that the first season boasted three female directors: Rosemary Rodriguez, Uta Briesewitz, and S.J. Clarkson, who directed the first two episodes. Season 2 of Jessica Jones is set to hit Netflix in 2018.
