Elon Musk gave us our first glance at the spacesuit we’ll be sporting when he ships us to Mars, and boy, will we be looking dapper.
The sneak peek was posted to the SpaceX CEO’s Instagram account.

Musk says this is not a concept suit, and that it was already tested to double vacuum pressure.
The business magnate makes it a point to add design to whatever project he’s working on, even if it’s a tunnel digging machine. But he explained it was “incredibly hard” to balance the aesthetics and function of a spacesuit.
We think he did a great job. The svelte, form-fitting design makes it look like the astronaut just came back from the trailor, and the subtle trim gives it just the right amount of sci-fi flair. In fact, we think this would make for a pretty slick Tesla racing suit.
Musk promised more details in the coming days so expect to see additional images. Fingers crossed we see the outspoken CEO geared up in one of these.
