Piers Morgan is still trying to recover from the Twitter burns he received at the hands of J.K. Rowling, an undisputed champion at the art of social media sabotage.
So, he asked another author, 50 Shades of Grey and 50 Shades Darker author E.L. James, for some help salving his wounds. Unfortunately for the British TV personality, she only added fuel to the fire.
Here was Morgan’s request.
Hi @E_L_James, any chance you could start tweeting me one of your books? I need some relief from this Harry Potter crap.

And James’s response?
‘I believed that the more exposure I got in the press, the better my career would progress. Trouble was, I became overexposed’

Oh, from which book was that passage?
Gilderoy Lockhart, from Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets.

Where can Morgan turn next for some help? Perhaps British romance novelist Jojo Moyes, who boasts almost 98,000 Twitter followers? Well, maybe not.

Or perhaps Monty Python legend, screenwriter, and author John Cleese?
Piers Morgan writes that I didn’t recognise him in a restaurant in New York.I did.I just didn’t want to speak to someone I truly detest

Or maybe Morgan should just lay off Twitter for a while.
