With Disney taking months and months to find a lead actor for the live-action Aladdin movie, Twitter ridiculed the length of time it took to find a Middle Eastern or Indian actor who could play the role.
But now that the Hollywood Reporter has reported that Marwan Kenzari is in negotiations to play Jafar, the internet is on board with the decision. In fact, Twitter so approves of the casting that people are more than willing to root for the villain of the film.
Why? Because he’s super handsome, of course.

Thanks to Hot Jafar™ the new Aladdin will include a scene where Aladdin passive aggressively accuses Jasmine of enjoying being Jafar’s slave

Poor Mena Massoud. He’s the one tasked with playing Aladdin in the film, and now, he’s got basically the whole world rooting against him to lose Jasmine to the sexiest villain of all.
