He swerves. He ducks. He laughs. He revs it over 200 kph. And then, just two days after posting the blindingly fast “200 km autoroute 15 nord” to YouTube, he gets called into court.

Police issued a reckless driving citation to an unidentified 18-year-old Québécois whose dangerous joyride down nearby Mirabel’s Highway 15 has now received over 25,000 views on YouTube. His court date, the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation reported, was on Thursday, though details concerning the unidentified driver’s sentence have not been released.

Though the video suggests that the driver and his passengers were having a pretty good time, reaction to the clip has been staunchly negative. Viewers have chided the driver for being an “idiot” and a “dumb ass” and told him repeatedly that he should be glad that he’s alive today.

“There is acting like a douche. Then there is acting like a douche and recording it,” YouTuber sysfixr wrote. “THEN there is acting like a douche, recording it, and putting it on Utoob.

“But here we have—Acting like a douche, recording it, putting it on Utoob, AND getting busted for being a douche that was recorded while being a douche then being douchey enough to upload the video AND get busted because of the video. All because you, kiddo, are a douche.”

From the great plains of Canada, the people have spoken: Some kid in Maribel is an extremely prominent douche.

Oh, and justice is served—at speeds in excess of 200 kilometers per hour.
