It’s become increasingly difficult, in our age of near-universal video surveillance, to commit a crime without it being recorded. And so we find ourselves watching this brief but terrifying act of violence perpetrated in a Brooklyn building’s elevator a little more than a week ago.
Police are still searching for the shooter, who fired once, striking a 25-year-old man in the torso, Gothamist reported. That victim is in stable condition at Kings County Hospital.
