Two sexy girls can’t chow down on a hot dog on YouTube, apparently.

YouTube pulled a 30-second ad for buy.xxx earlier this week that featured two porn stars seductively eating for “spam, scams and commercial deceptive content.”

Although it is unclear what the pertinent reason was for pulling the ad, YouTube does offer a way for users to “report” videos. Once a video has been flagged by enough people, it will be pulled. It’s safe to say ICM Registry, the domain registrar auctioning the controversial domain, has its share of enemies.

The commercial is part of a $4.5 million ad campaign from ICM Registry and spotlights two porn stars and Gavin McInnes, Vice magazine’s cofounder. The ad is still available for play on Vimeo and has garnered more than 1,200 views.

The ads are confusing to some, judging from a tweet by one of the porn star’s fans. “Just saw u on a commercial on Espn about xxx movies Lol!” a fan tweeted to Nina Mercedez, a porn actress in the ad. “Its about .xxx not movies,” she responded.

Other .xxx ads have also been pulled, according to ICM Registry President Stuart Lawley. The company is pushing YouTube to have the ad re-uploaded, reported The Register.

Starting Dec. 6, you can grab your personal .xxx website when the auction enters “general availability,” meaning all .xxx domains are for sale.
