With more than 72 hours of footage uploaded every minute, it’s physically impossible to keep track of the content on YouTube. In YouTube Guide, the Daily Dot will curate its five favorite finds for each workday.
1) Fuse, “32”
It’s easy for Taylor Swift to be carefree at 22, but things don’t look as bright when you add on a decade. When you’re 32, you have to deal with things like diets, going on Xanax, constant body aches, and only having one drink—among life’s many other problems.
2) Slacktory, “TV’s best fake websites”
Short of posting the info on a website or paying a company to use their name, TV shows will often make up their own websites. Beyond all of the Facebook, Google, and forum site rip offs TV’s best are somehow able to find what they’re looking for.
3) College Humor, “Beer Beer Goggles”
At the end of the night, which beer will you choose? Disguised as one big euphemism for finding a woman at the bar, someone has his beer beer goggles on and starts drinking more macro beers that he’d ever normally go for sober.
4) Mark Rober, “Unibrow Discrimination – Social Experiment”
In an effort to see how unibrowed people are treated in social situations, Mark Rober goes to a store (both with a unibrow and without) and asks a few questions to passersby. Hidden cameras show people’s reactions following the unibrow encounters.
5) Michael Birken, “Post-it Note Arcade – Stop Motion Animation”
Michael Birken spent the past 11 months using 4,800 Post-it notes to turn his walls into his very own arcade. As a tribute to his two favorite old-school games, Ms. Pac-Man and Donkey Kong, Ms. Pac-Man and Mario are able to each play through their level.
