We might not be getting that Space Jam sequel anytime soon, but this just might be the next best thing.

Jensen Karp and Sean O’Connor brought together a mix of actors, comedians, and athletes to perform a table read of the 1996 film Space Jam that included Blake Griffin, DeAndre Jordan, Seth Green, Danielle Fishel, and Nick Kroll, among others.

It’s part of a recurring program at Upright Citizens Brigade called “The Live Read,” and it appears that Funny or Die may release something at a later date.

So far Karp released a 36-second teaser of the opening scene on YouTube and an audience member uploaded an Instagram video, but we already wish we were there.

Griffin is clearly having fun with it as Michael Jordan. If LeBron James won’t do a Space Jam sequel, can we get him instead?
