The many instances of abuse at the hands of police in recent months have led some to believe that the world is slowly heading toward a “police state” existence. If this indeed becomes the case, then it is up to all of us to follow proper protocol when at the hands of a law enforcement officer—and to teach our pets to do the same thing.
YouTube user Jon Sun’s tiny Shiba Inu puppy, Kibo, has learned how to mimic the “spread ’em!” stance officers belt out at suspects, popularized by Cops and other crime shows. All it takes is Jon Sun pointing his finger at Kibo as if it were a gun.
While being restrained by handcuffs may prove impossible for Kibo’s tiny paws, maybe Jon Sun can next teach the pooch how to carve a shiv in prison and gradually scrape through his cell wall for 20 years for a miraculous Shawshank Redemption–style escape.
