This endangered sea turtle’s photobomb game is on point

It’s his ocean—we’re just standing in it.

Though green sea turtles are endangered, their lives are fairly simple: Eat, swim, procreate, and sometimes stick your beak into a carefully orchestrated photo shoot.

Such was the remarkable intrusion witnessed by Diovani de Jesus, who posted the following photo to the nature and culture blog Adventures ni Kulot

“We were posing for a group photo at Apo Island when this sea turtle surfaced to breathe and photo-bombed!” wrote de Jesus, noting that these shallow waters in the Philippines provide a feeding ground for the species.

“Just like what my friend Genesis said, this is a reminder that humans and creatures like this gentle pawikan can co-exist,” de Jesus concluded. As long as we don’t mind being totally upstaged, that is.
