Donald Trump isn’t exactly known as the warmest person on the planet, but this a little ridiculous.
Calling into Fox & Friends on Tuesday, the Republican nominee took the time to thank his children for all the hard work they had put into his campaign. But not all the offspring are equally deserving of his praise, it seems.
“I’m very proud of my children. I mean I’m just looking at them right now,” said Trump, after laying out the closing arguments of his campaign. But Trump’s youngest daughter, Tiffany, who called her father a “natural-born encourager” during a speech at Republican National Convention this summer, is apparently not worthy of the same level praise as his other children.
“I’m very proud, because of Don and Eric and Ivanka,” Trump continued. “And to a lesser extent, because she just got out of school, out of college—Tiffany, who has also been so terrific.”
If only poor Tiffany weren’t 22 and trying to better herself by advancing her education. Oh well.
So what is Trump’s closing argument? He told Fox News: “We have to build up our military; it’s depleted. We have to take care of our vets. We have to make strong borders. We have to make strong trade deals. And we have to terminate Obamacare. We have to terminate it. We’re gonna come up with great healthcare… much better and much less expensive. Save our Second Amendment. And remember our Supreme Court.”
