New York Congressman Lee Zeldin (R-Shirley) on Monday took a shot at Colin Kaepernick. This while applauding police for catching the suspect in the Chelsea bombing that took place on Saturday night.
The explosion injured 29 people.
Suspect in custody. You are welcome Colin Kaepernick.

Zeldin created a connection between an alleged terrorist incident and a professional football player who is raising awareness of police brutality against African-Americans.
Of course, Kaepernick fans were angry and took it to Twitter.
If only Kaepernick had stood for the anthem these past two weeks, we could have caught the terrorist 3 hours sooner probably.

It’s interesting that Zeldin frowns upon Kaepernick for being vocal about an issue he finds to be important when last year he posted a photo of Martin Luther King Jr., on his Instagram, with the caption: “Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about things that matter.”
